Founded in 2015, Explore, the company that will use the trucks, is a specialist supplier of transport and plant hire services to a diverse range of industry sectors including aerospace, construction, rail and nuclear, and is one of the fastest growing haulage and plant hire businesses in the UK.

With a compact design and a net output of more than 350 kW, the NextGen system achieves the performance characteristics of comparable long-haul conventional heavy-duty trucks while reducing fuel consumption by 20 percent compared to the current generation.

The Class-8 vehicle will rely on a 226" wheelbase powered by technology from Accelera by Cummins, the zero-emissions business segment of Cummins Inc. Indeed, the truck uses both an Accelera hydrogen fuel cell engine and electric powertrain for emissions-free operation.

The vehicle is powered by three new Honda fuel cell systems, now in mass production at Fuel Cell System Manufacturing, LLC (FCSM), a joint venture production facility with General Motors (GM) in Brownstown, Michigan. Let's see the vehicle key technical features.
