DAF XG and XG+ Electric
The XG and XG+ Electric, designed for longer-distance transport, are available in multiple chassis configurations and feature the highly efficient PACCAR EX-D2 electric powertrain, delivering outputs from 270 to 350 kW (370 to 480 hp) and a maximum torque of 2,400 Nm. The driveline is powered by up to five lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery packs, mounted modularly on the chassis. Depending on the application, ‘zero-emission ranges’ of over 500 kilometres are possible.
“The start of production of the XG Electric and XG+ Electric, underlines our commitment to offering zero-emission solutions across a broad range of applications”, stated Harald Seidel, President of DAF Trucks until the end of June, before retiring, as announced only a few days ago. “Customers such as Hellmold & Plank demonstrate that our electric trucks are delivering strong efficiency and sustainable performances in everyday logistics operations.”
