Windrose founder and CEO, Wen Han, informed on LinkedIn that the very first batch of Windrose electric trucks is going into production on November 20. This is a very important step for the Chinese start-up, which managed to grow enormously in the last 32 months, as pointed out by Wan. Indeed, Windrose was established only in March 2022, with founder and CEO Wen Han leading the company since then, following a valuable experience at Plus in the U.S.

The production plans of Windrose EV trucks

Windrose electric truck, which was on display at the last IAA at the testing area, is a very promising e-truck model for long haulage. The truck has a battery capacity of 729 kWh, with promised range of 670 km loaded at 49 ton. The electric motors achieve an impressive 1,400 hp. So far, the Windrose EV truck has been tested by quite big companies in four continents, including Oceania. The plan is to set production sites in Europe (Belgium) and the U.S. (Georgia).
