At the end of 2025, Scania has delivered the very first electric truck to Croatia. “This is a major step towards a more sustainable and future-ready transport industry and we couldn’t be more satisfied on our partnership with STW Manšped from Rijeka”, stated the Group on the social media, mentioning the company that purchased the zero-emission vehicle.

The first Scania electric truck in Croatia

Among the key technical features of the truck are NMC battery with nearly 300 kWh gross capacity; 310 hp electric motor output; 2-speed transmission; the possibility to rely on regenerative braking. The Scania electric truck has got 20-ton GVW, with 9-ton payload capacity.

“Beyond the numbers, this delivery represents progress, responsibility and commitment to lower emissions, quieter cities and smarter logistics solutions”, stated Scania East Adriatic Region.
