As announced by Elon Musk and Tesla back in October, the Tesla Semi ambitious electric truck was officially launched on December 1st during a great event broadcasted online. On that day, the very first Tesla truck delivered (to PepsiCo, by the way) was also announced. The project that led to the presentation of the electric truck, the only one capable to run 800 km on a single charge, according to the manufacturer, was not easy and some important delays happened throughout the years. Now, the truck seems to be ready to hit the road.

The Tesla Semi hitting the road eventually

In order to provide an answer to those who doubt about the Tesla Semi project, Tesla posted an interesting video on its official YouTube, showing how, on time lapse and including a toilet break, the truck manages to cover the announced range. Watch it below!
